Experts at all things Sauvignon Blanc, Henri Bourgeois is rightfully acclaimed one of the region's top producers. Sancerre Marnes Kimmeridgiennes 2021 is made from 100% Sauvignon Blanc, grown in kimmeridgian soil; a blend of clay and Jurassic fossils. Concentrated and well-balanced, it shows the most authentic and fleshy side of Sancerre. The nose has delicate tropical fruit notes (a proof of ripe Sauvignon grapes) and vibrant citrus aromas. The palate is equally fruity, with the soils bringing a clean mineral note on the finish. A very concentrated wine which expresses its strong personality.
